Beautiful Abomination

This is a piece I did for a friend's birthday. She had asked me to draw her wearing this headdress and furs, and about a year and a half later I surprised her when I showed up to her house with a large poster-sized print of it. I drew the construction bit digitally, traced over a more refined version in pencil, completed the line work in Illustrator and finished the coloring and other details in Photoshop.
